Abuse Crisis

Abuse Questions and Answers:

Q: How can I forgive my parents for their abuse when I was a child. How can I work through this and receive healing? J.S.

A: Abuse is one of the most frightening things that can happen to a child especially when it is within their own home and from those whom you love and depend upon. Abuse leaves hidden scars and wounds that you can carry with you through life as it affects every relationship and many of the decision that you make in life since your heart has been ripped open and pierced with emotional scaring. Yet you can receive complete healing and restoration from the love of Christ Who died for our sins and for our complete healing.

Romans 8:28 (above) tells us that as a child of God He can create good from evil. What does that mean? It means that when you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and you begin to walk in His Word, you become a light and a refuge to others as you share your experience, strength and hope from the healing power of God. He will heal those wounds and replace the emotional scars of abuse with complete healing as He wraps you in His loving presence and gives you the release through Jesus Christ as you lay these scars at the cross of Salvation.

If you want to accept the Lord as your Savior and receive His healing presence, begin by confessing your sins, repenting and invite Jesus and the healing into your life that only He can bring.
