1. Matthew 1:1
   [ The Genealogy of Jesus ] A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:
   
    
2. Matthew 1:16
   and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
   
    
3. Matthew 1:18
   This is the birth of Jesus Christ; His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph but before they came together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
   
    
4. Matthew 1:21
   She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins."
   
    
5. Matthew 1:25
   But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
   
    
6. Matthew 2:1
   Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod. The Magi [ Traditionally Wise Men] from the east came to Jerusalem
   
    
7. Matthew 3:13
   Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.
   
    
8. Matthew 3:15
   Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness."
   
    
9. Matthew 3:16
   Immediately when Jesus was baptized he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
   
    
10. Matthew 4:1
    Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
    
     
11. Matthew 4:4
    Jesus said; "It is written; Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" [ Deut. 8:3] "

    Jesus answered; '"It is also written, Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' [ Deut. 6:16] "
    
     
13. Matthew 4:10
    Jesus said; "Away from me, Satan for it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' [ Deut. 6:13] "
    
     
14. Matthew 4:12
    Jesus heard that John had been put in prison
    
     
15. Matthew 4:17
    From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
    
     
16. Matthew 4:18
    Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee when he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
    
     
17. Matthew 4:19 
    Jesus said, "Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men."
    
     
18. Matthew 4:21
    Jesus called James son of Zebedee and his brother John to follow Him.
    
     
19. Matthew 4:23
    Jesus went throughout Galilee preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
    
     
20. Matthew 7:28
    When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,
    
     
21. Matthew 8:3
    Jesus reached out his hand to touch a sick man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.
    
     
22. Matthew 8:4
    Jesus said; "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
    
     
23. Matthew 8:5
    A centurion came to Jesus asking for help.
    
     
24. Matthew 8:7
    Jesus said "I will go and heal him."
    
     
25. Matthew 8:10
    Jesus said; "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
