Vision & Mission         

The River follows the mission and vision of Transformation Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, founded by Ford Taylor in 2002 who was called to Cincinnati from his home in Texas to minister unity, healing and restoration to our city, our nation and the world. I have personally never met a man of such integrity and humility and I am proud to have Brother Ford as my friend, my Brother in Christ Jesus.                      The Message is Simple

1. We only have one enemy, and it is not each other.  Let’s focus on God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2. God wants us to come together in unity in Jesus, not uniformity in theology.

3. .A leader is someone who puts aside his own agenda and takes on a greater agenda of service to God, and others.

4. Every sinner has a future, and every saint has a past.  Because of this, we must learn to forgive each other, accept God's forgiveness and forgive ourselves.

5. Love God – Love each other.  We must look to God for answers.

6.  We have a strong city!  We are surrounded by the walls of God's salvation. Isaiah 26:1

Transformation Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky is not a group or a ministry, it’s a process.

Purpose: The "Why" we were created, our reason for being.....
To love, honor and glorify God and love each other

Vision: Where we are going/aiming…What we are seeing God's desired future to be.
That this region, be transformed into one of many Jesus-Centered areas of prayer and love, that provides refuge, healing and renewal for all people

Mission: What we do, the unique focus of our work.
To facilitate uniting God's people in businesses, churches, families, government, communities, ministries and schools, first through prayer, then plans and actions to spread the good news of Jesus through this city, region, nation and world
 

The River has facilities to help those who are less fortunate than we are. We have showers in both men and women bath rooms enabling  the homeless an opportunity to refresh themselves both physically and Spiritually in preparation for job interviews and life needs. We are currently attempting to secure funding for a bus enabling us to transfer Cincinnati area homeless to the River once weekly for showers, clothing and personal hygene products.  Kid's for Kid's!

Shayla Setzer has organized and founded Kid's for Kid's - a program developed to link proactive children with the heart and the desire to impact the lives of less fortunate children globally. Each child that participates in this program will be linked with a child of like age/gender so that they can personally and fruitfully communicate with and impact less fortunate children as they actively support the overall growth and development of the child and their future. As each member child watches the physical, emotional and Spiritual growth of the less fortunate child, the results are incomparable! They will watch each child learn to communicate through correspondence as their literacy and physical health increases from the education, warm meals, clean uniforms and medical needs met by each member child as they sponsor less fortunate children. My two daughters, Shayla 9 and Faith 5, began this program when they donated a portion of their Christmas gifts to sponsor their adopted sisters in Haiti two years ago. Each week they eagerly donate a portion of their allowance (and extra gift money, etc.) to continue the support of their sisters in Haiti. They have developed close relationships, inner growth and inexpressible love as they watch these children grow. I pray that you too will support their passion to see this program grow globally!

A message from Shayla       (Shayla likes RED!)

Last year I gave up all of my presents because I wanted my two sisters in Haiti to have all of the presents. I would do anything for people who are poor and don't have enough money to buy food or clothing. I would give all of my money to kids that are poor. I hope that you join the Kids for Kids Club and we can  talk about the changes that we make in poor kids life's, share our pictures and maybe we can even meet somewhere. Kids that are out their, I really hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. Also have a happy New year!

Helping People
We want to show all people how to receive healing in every area of life—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, financially and socially as they receive WHOLENESS through Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and it is He Who leads us through the darkness in the world and opens the doors for us to help hurting people.

We have a mandate from God to feed the poor, clothe the naked as we work in unity with numerous homeless shelters and feeding programs both locally and around the world through our missions outreach. We visit the prisoners, minister to the elderly through our compassion and love for all of God's children. We focus and reach out those children and teenagers who need Jesus so desperately as we grow them up to follow their Godly calling.

Our vision includes international missions as we fund and provide in various ways for missionaries and orphanages that supply food, clothing, schooling and shelter for needy children while ministering to their spiritual needs. My two little girls gave up their Christmas gifts two years ago to adopt and care for two child orphans in Haiti and they desire to help more children daily through these programs. You can read about one of these little girls, Maria, in the next column. The Lord is healing and growing children through children and this is a program that we wish to spread worldwide. Impact Mission & Vision

Faith International has a God-ordained mandate to impact the world with community and worldwide outreach. We are called to present the Gospel to the lost, the dying, the sinners and saved while we disciple nations, feed the hungry, clothe the poor, minister to the elderly, widows and orphans, visit prisoners and reach out to people of all ages and in all walks of life. God requires that we teach people how to apply biblical truth in every facet of their lives, and encourage Christians to influence every aspect of the world around them. (See Matthew 28:18-20, Isaiah 1:17).

With the prayers and support of our friends and partners around the world, we present an accurate and relevant message of Christ and His love for people worldwide with powerful ministry and outreach tools and distribution of practical teaching resources.

We provide global humanitarian aid to hurting people as we teach Christians and non-Christians alike how to apply Gods love and biblical principles in all they do. (See John 10:10).

Our goal is to reach every nation, every city and every seeker and Christian brother and sister with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
