Peer PowerThe River is scheduling auditions for Empowering Youth-A New Generation of Believers for fall Christian Television programming. Saturdays are being reserved for the youth of our area to gather together as they share their gifts of music, song, dance, theater and art through live performances free to the public. This is an awesome way for Christian youth to touch other youth for Christ. We encourage youth leaders from all local ministries to join us in this effort to produce programming that will captivate our next generation with the fullness of His Glory! We are seeing such an awesome move of God in the lives of our teens and they in return are showing such a hunger and thirst to serve Him as never before. We must not miss this chance to encourage and exhort our children especially in a time where spiritual darkness is lingering in deep crevices attempting to steal, kill and destroy our kids through drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, homosexuality and pornography. If your child has a love for the Lord and has a talent to share with our community and the world Email us today to schedule an audition. Please state your current church, youth pastor, age of child and talents. We will begin forming teams for live programming this month which we intend to air this fall on our new Christian Series. We are also forming Youth Battle of the Band Members for live performances throughout the year!
The River is committed to building up our youth as strong warriors in Christ Jesus during this especially tumultuous time in which we are living. We encourage youth within our communities to join The River daily for after school studies as we diligently work to implement mentoring programs for after school studies. With our wireless Broadband Internet Connection, youth can sign onto school libraries, online tutorials and complete their work in an environment which is safe in the presence of their peers.
Each Friday evening at 7:00PM The River surrenders the Celebration Cinema to our youth for a special YouthByte message given by Chad Daniels. Chad challenges teens today with real life situations and the answers to the multitude of trials, tribulations and attacks from other secular peers. We give them the answers and courage to take back dominion from the enemy and become the power filled teens in which Christ has called them....to build HIS Kingdom Reign for this generation filled with satanic music, television, drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography and suicide. We encourage our youth to share their stories about similar challenges they face daily based upon the special message given each week. In other words, it is an open forum for them to be honest and share the dangers that they face and the emotional challenges in which they are attacked daily. This is a powerful platform as we raise up our youth to share the stage in Peer Power for Christ!! Saturday Slam-Jam!!
Each Saturday Evening The River opens the doors for our youth to take center stage in our main worship center; ushering in a new generation of believers as they share their talented gifts through music, prayer and intercession. If you are a teen and want to take center stage with a special message, music or prayer, please contact our youth department today so that we can share your vision with our community. This is a power packed night for our youth within the Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Communities! The Power Peer Saturday Slam is based upon availability and must be scheduled.
